Bill Solan:
As many of you know past President Bill Solan suffered two strokes several weeks ago. After a stint at Mt Sinai for rehab he was transferred to Christian Hill rehab in Great Barrington Ma., where he is currently.
Through a mammoth effort on Bill’s part he is progressing and every day proving that he is the Big Dog. His courage in the face of such adversity is an inspiration for all of us. It would not be fair if we did not mention how much his wife Karen has had to deal with and how much her courage has shown through. Our prayers and best wishes go out to both of them.
Rehab is difficult at best and the family has requested that we not visit Bill for awhile. The family will keep us up to date and let us know when Bill can have visitors. This is the time for us as club members remember Bill and all that he has done for the club. Bill has been in the club for forty years. He has served as president, vice president, a director on the board and the present chairman of the ice fishing derby. To show our support and love for bill, send a card or a short letter to bolster Bill's spirit in this most difficult time. You can send letters and cards to:

One of our very own club members has been lucky enough to have been selected for a new TV reality show-Masterchef. The show premiers: July 27th (Tuesday) at 8 pm on FOX. Tune in and see who it is!
Annual Outing - August 15th:
Our 64th Annual Outing will be held on August 15th from 12 pm to 5 pm on club grounds. Lots of food, fun and great people. Rain or Shine. $35 per person-$10 per child under 12.
There will be: Pig-Roast Beef-Turkey-Steak Sandwiches-Sausage Sandwiches-Fish-Corn Chowder-Clams-Corn on the Cob-Hotdogs-Hamburgers. Raffle with great items.This event is open to everyone.
